About the Holiday Tree of Lights
The Holiday Tree of Lights holds a special place in Blount Memorial Foundation’s story. As our very first fundraising campaign launched in 1989, it planted more than a tree along Lamar Alexander Parkway—it planted a tradition of compassion that has continued to shine for more than three decades.
Each year, the lights that glow on this iconic tree are illuminated by generous donors who give in honor or in memory of someone special: a loved one, a caregiver, a colleague, or a friend. Every light represents a story, a relationship, a moment of gratitude.
Most importantly, every gift made becomes a lifeline for patients. Your generosity provides essentials that many of our neighbors, right here in Blount County, simply cannot afford.
