The Employee Care Fund (ECF) provides a meaningful way for the members of the Blount Memorial family to help each other in times of need. Established and administer by the Foundation, the ECF is designed to assist qualified employees and their families who experience temporary financial hardships to a medical or personal emergency. You may contribute to this fund by purchasing fleece jackets, participating in the Spring Employee Silent Auction, or through payroll deduction.
Types of Employee Assistance
Thus far this fiscal year, the Employee Care Fund has provided $22,143.05 in financial assistance to qualified employees. Of the assistance provided employees were assisted with funeral expenses, car repairs, rent/mortgage, utilities, and to assist with unexpected homelessness. Much like the Hospital, created by the community to take care of the community, the Employee Care Fund was created by the employees to take care of the employees.
